Chronarium’s icons come from two open icon sets: Game-icons.net and Lucide. Both licences ask for credit. Thank you to the people who drew these icons.
Game-icons.net
Chronarium uses 878 history icons from Game-icons.net. They are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 (CC BY 3.0).

We chose these icons by hand for history: weapons, buildings, ships, tools, symbols, crops and animals.
What we changed:
- Recoloured each icon to match the entry it marks.
- Resized each icon.
- The drawings themselves are unchanged.

Source Serif 4
The lettering of the Chronarium logo is drawn from Source Serif 4 Regular, a typeface by Adobe released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. “Source” is a Reserved Font Name of Adobe. The font source is at github.com/adobe-fonts/source-serif.
The headings on this website use Source Serif 4. The font files are served from chronarium.app itself, unchanged from Adobe’s release, with the licence file beside them.
